Lake Como wedding videographer

Planning your wedding on Lake Como? We are destination wedding filmmakers based in Europe, and Lake Como is one of our favourite places to film. Mountains dropping straight into the water, old villas with terraced gardens, and the soft evening light on the lake give your wedding film a look that no other place in the world has. We have filmed weddings at Villa Cipressi in Varenna and Villa del Balbianello in Lenno, and our job is always the same: to capture your day the way it felt, so you can relive it for the rest of your life.

Maddie + JD

Maddie and JD celebrated their wedding at Villa Cipressi in Varenna, a historic villa with gardens that run down in terraces to the edge of the lake. Their highlight film shows why couples from all over the world choose Lake Como. We followed them from the quiet moments of getting ready to the ceremony, the celebration with their guests, and a boat ride across the water in front of Varenna’s colourful houses. The result is a nine-minute film that feels like the day itself: elegant, emotional and full of life.

Lauren + Joe

Lauren and Joe married at Villa del Balbianello in Lenno, one of the most famous villas on Lake Como, set on a green peninsula with water on three sides. A wedding here is never only about the venue: the lake itself becomes part of the story. We spent time with them on the water, filming portraits on a classic boat with the mountains behind them. These are the moments couples tell us they treasure most, because they are calm, honest and completely about the two of them.

Every couple also receives a teaser of up to 60 seconds, made for sharing on social media, so your friends and family can feel the day long before the full film arrives.

Filming a wedding on Lake Como

Lake Como weddings are spread across the whole lake, from Cernobbio and Moltrasio in the south to Tremezzo, Lenno, Bellagio and Varenna in the centre. Many celebrations include a boat transfer for the couple or the guests, a ceremony in a villa garden or a lakeside church, and dinner on a terrace above the water. We plan our coverage around these moments, so nothing important happens while we are moving between locations.

The light on the lake changes quickly. The best time for portraits is usually the last hour before sunset, when the mountains turn golden and the water is calm. We always suggest a short portrait session at that time, on land or on a boat, because it gives your film its most beautiful scenes.

What you receive

Our style

Most people call us videographers, but we see ourselves as filmmakers. A video documents a day moment by moment. A film tells an emotional story. Our style mixes editorial and documentary filmmaking: we guide you gently when it helps, and the rest of the day we stay in the background and capture the little moments most couples miss. After watching your film, you will see your wedding the way your guests did.
